Job Summary:
We are looking for skilled and experienced Restaurant Staff to join our team. The ideal candidate/s should have passion for authentic Japanese and Chinese cuisine, continental breakfast, hotel services, possess excellent customer service skills, and be able to work
in a fast-paced environment.
The F&B Restaurant Staff are responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of food and beverage preparation and presentation. They are required to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Provide menus and take customer orders promptly and accurately.
- Suggests food and beverages to the guest and also try to upsell.
- Ensure food and beverage orders are prepared and presented according to established standards.
- Observes guests and ensure their satisfaction with the food and service and respond to any complaints or concerns.
- Perform regular cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the restaurant's cleanliness and hygiene.
- Manage and process payment transactions.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Communicate with the kitchen to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Uphold the restaurant's policies and procedures and promote a positive working environment.
- Obtain revenues, issuing receipts, accepting payments, returning the change.
- Filling in for absent staff as needed.
- Maintains proper dining experience for the guests
- Adheres to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
- Promptly respond to guest with any additional request.
- Prints closing report and drop the cash with the front office/ accounts department.
- Tally the Credit Card settlements for the day with the batch closing report.
- Close the shift on the POS terminal.
Requirements:
- Completed or ongoing Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management (Hospitality related studies) or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Willingness to learn and follow established standards and procedures.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and move around the restaurant as needed.
