Role Purpose:

Drive data-led insight into Ncell's consumer business, enabling the Commercial, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams to make better decisions faster. The Business Analyst (Consumer) bridges the gap between business questions and data answers — translating commercial challenges into analytical frameworks and presenting findings in a way that drives action. The role is critical to understanding customer behavior, revenue performance, and market dynamics in Nepal's competitive telecom landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Consumer Analytics & Insight:

Analyze prepaid and postpaid revenue trends, ARPU, churn, recharge behavior, and customer lifetime value to surface actionable commercial insights.
Develop and maintain customer segmentation models to support targeted marketing, product development, and retention strategies.
Build and monitor KPI dashboards for Consumer business units, ensuring data is accurate, timely, and interpreted in context.
Conduct deep-dive analyses on campaign performance, product uptake, digital channel adoption, and subscriber lifecycle trends.
Support demand forecasting and pricing analysis for consumer products and tariff packages.

Business Partnering:

Serve as the primary BI partner to the Consumer, Marketing, and Customer Experience business units.
Understand business objectives and proactively identify analytical questions that would drive better decision-making.
Present findings to senior stakeholders in clear, non-technical language with clear recommendations.
Participate in commercial planning cycles, contributing data-backed inputs to strategy, budgeting and target setting.

Data & Reporting:

Design and maintain consumer-facing reports, scorecards, and automated dashboards.
Collaborate with Data Analysts and BI Developers to build scalable reporting solutions.
Ensure data integrity and consistency across consumer datasets; flag and resolve data quality issues.
Document analytical methodologies, data definitions, and reporting logic for knowledge sharing.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field; Master's degree is an advantage.
Minimum 6-8 years of experience in a business analysis, commercial analytics, or insight role.
Experience in the telecommunications sector is strongly preferred.
Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation; experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate data into clear commercial narratives.
Experience with Excel-based modelling; knowledge of Python or R is an advantage.
