About Kathmandu Business Consultants

Kathmandu Business Consultants (KBC) is a business consulting firm founded in 2018 that helps growing companies in Nepal with smart finance. Our services include accounting, tax advisory, corporate law, payroll, bank automation and HR support, and we serve more than 100 clients. KBC also has a subsidiary, Finaceal, which provides back office accounting support to US CPA firms.

Role Summary

We are looking for a Brand Manager to take full ownership of our marketing, branding and lead generation. This is a hands on leadership role for someone who has already run real campaigns and projects and is ready to take responsibility for results. You will come up with ideas, turn them into plans and carry them through from start to finish. You will bring in qualified leads, build a strong and consistent brand presence, manage trainings and events, and lead our marketing interns. Our CEO leads the main conversations with potential clients, so your job is to fill the pipeline and warm up leads before they reach him.

Key Responsibilities

Brand and Marketing Ownership

Own the end to end marketing and branding process, from strategy and planning to execution, tracking and improvement
Take initiative in proposing new campaigns, ideas and channels, and see them through to results
Own the KBC brand voice, visual identity and positioning across all channels
Plan and run a monthly content calendar for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and other relevant channels
Grow our followers, engagement, brand visibility and inbound enquiries
Develop marketing material such as posts, brochures, presentations, insights and campaign content
Coordinate with designers and the Marketing Consultant on campaigns, launches and events and even design the posts
Keep all content consistent with brand guidelines

Lead generation and Follow up

Identify, research and qualify potential clients using tools such as LinkedIn, Apollo.io, business directories and other lead sources
Run outreach campaigns through email, LinkedIn, social media and other channels
Follow up with leads consistently, qualify their interest and schedule meetings for the CEO
Maintain an organised lead pipeline with the status, notes and next steps for each lead
Brief the CEO before key prospect conversations

Sales Strategy & Business Development

Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire new clients and grow KBC’s service portfolio.
Identify, research and qualify prospective clients based on their business needs and suitability for KBC’s services.
Participate in various sales related meetings with possible clients.
Follow up with prospects, maintain client relationships and support the conversion of qualified leads into business engagements.

Financial branding support

Look after the branding and visual consistency of Finaceal, KBC's subsidiary
Help maintain its social media presence and marketing content, working with the Marketing Consultant
Keep Finaceal's brand identity separate from KBC's while staying aligned with the group

Trainings and events

Look after and manage occasional trainings, workshops and webinars, from planning and promotion to coordination and follow up
Handle registrations, participant communication, logistics, materials and feedback collection
Use trainings and events as a tool to build brand visibility and generate leads

Planning, reporting and improvement

Set weekly and monthly targets for leads, outreach volume, meetings booked and content output
Track performance and report regularly to the CEO and the Marketing Consultant, with clear numbers and recommendations
Continuously test and improve messaging, targeting and channels
Document workflows, templates and processes so the work can be repeated and scaled
Manage multiple projects and initiatives at the same time and deliver them on time

Team leadership

Lead, supervise, train and review the work of marketing interns
Assign tasks, set deadlines and give regular feedback
Make sure the team's work meets quality standards before it is published

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Required Age:More than or equal to 25 years

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Management or a related field
2 to 3 years of relevant experience in marketing, branding, business development or lead generation
Proven experience handling real projects and campaigns from planning to results
Experience supervising or leading a team or interns
Demonstrated ability to initiate ideas and take ownership of a process end to end
Good command of AI tools for content creation, research and productivity
Strong skills in Canva or other designing, branding and marketing tools
Hands on knowledge of marketing tools and software such as social media schedulers, email outreach tools, LinkedIn, Google Workspace and a CRM
Excellent communication skills, written and spoken, in English and Nepali
Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives at the same time
Strong follow up discipline and comfort working to targets

Preferred

Experience generating leads for both domestic and international clients
Experience marketing to consulting, accounting, audit, finance or other professional services firms
Experience organising trainings, workshops or events
Video editing and content creation skills
Analytics and reporting skills
