SUSWA is a bilateral project funded by the Government of Nepal
(GoN), the Government of Finland (GoF) and the European Union to be implemented
in forty-two selected Palikas of Karnali Province. The Department of Water
Supply and Sewerage Management (DWSSM)/Ministry of Water Supply (MoWS) is the
main agency supporting the project's implementation. The Project Support Unit
(PSU) of the SUSWA project is located in Kalinchowk, Birendranagar, Surkhet.
In 2023 and 2024, SUSWA collaborated with the DWSSM, the Karnali
MoWRED and Local Governments to develop and implement a Service Support Centre,
supporting communities in monitoring and O&M of for the water supply. The “Rural Drinking Water Service Support Center Operation
Guideline (SSC Guideline 2080)” - DWSSM - December 2023, is the basis for the
development of the services requested in this tender.
SUSWA is seeking consultancy services to prepare an “O&M Fund Management and Mobilization Procedure" template. The contractor will develop a template for regulating O&M of drinking water assets under SSC guidelines and an operational mechanism for managing the maintenance fund that LGs can adopt.

May 2024. No verbal queries will be entertained. The bid evaluation will
be done following the Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) method

If the last date of submission of the tender document falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered the last date.
