We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive CAD Manager to lead our Scan-to-CAD division, which delivers high - accuracy architectural drawings from point clouds and field measurements for U.S. commercial clients (grocery,retail, restaurant, industrial). This role requires a strong blend of technical drafting expertise, team leadership,and customer-facing communication.

The Product Manager will oversee workflow, quality, customer expectations, and continuous improvement across multiple drafting teams. This individual must be detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable guiding both technical and operational decisions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product & Project Oversight

Own the full lifecycle of our Scan-to-CAD services—from intake to delivery.
Ensure all drawings meet accuracy standards (within 1/8” tolerance) and follow established drafting styles.
Review customer requirements, point clouds, and scope documents prior to project start.
Allocate workload and manage scheduling across 13 detailed drafters, 20 basic drafters, and 3 QC specialists.
Maintain and improve drafting templates, standards, and internal workflows.

2. Team Leadership

Provide daily leadership, guidance, and escalation support for drafting and QC teams across both office locations (Cebu, Philippines and Kathmandu, Nepal)
Conduct alignment meetings, performance check-ins, and ensure accountability for deadlines and quality.
Mentor staff on drafting best practices, architectural interpretation, and client communication.
Identify and drive training and upskilling programs.

3. Quality Management

Oversee our internal quality control processes and ensure all deliverables consistently meet customer expectations.
Implement corrective actions to reduce rework and improve accuracy.
Collaborate closely with QCs to audit drafting standards and architectural precision.

4. Customer Communication

Act as the primary point of contact for U.S. clients regarding scope, expectations, timelines, and clarifications.
Join review meetings and provide technical explanations confidently.
Translate customer feedback into process improvements for the team.

5. Process Improvement & Reporting

Track key performance indicators: throughput, revision rates, accuracy issues, and productivity.
Improve existing KOPs and create new ones where necessary.
Provide weekly and monthly performance reports to senior leadership.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical

5+ years of experience in AutoCAD with strong architectural drafting skills.
Experience working with point clouds and Scan-to-CAD workflows in conjunction with field dimensions.
Ability to interpret as-built environments accurately with high attention to detail.
Knowledge of U.S. architectural conventions is highly preferred.

Leadership

Proven experience leading or supervising a drafting team.
Strong ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
Process-oriented with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Communication

Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
Comfortable speaking with U.S. clients on calls and via email.
Ability to clearly communicate technical details to both clients and team members.

Other

Experience drafting for grocery, retail, or restaurant projects is a plus.
Familiarity with QA/QC workflows.
Highly detail-oriented, organized, and reliable.
