We are seeking a motivated, experienced, and results-driven Assistant Sales Manager to join our dynamic logistics and transportation team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships. This role offers opportunities for professional growth, collaboration, and hands-on exposure to the full spectrum of FTL, LTL, Express, and Sundry business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Generation & Client Acquisition:

Generate new business leads via cold calls, databases, referrals, and existing accounts.
Identify potential prospects, schedule meetings, and promote the company’s transportation services.

2. Sales Pipeline & Target Achievement:

Maintain a robust sales pipeline and convert leads into active accounts.
Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets consistently.

3. Account Management & Client Servicing:

Manage and maintain strong client relationships through regular follow-ups, communication, and issue resolution.
Ensure excellent customer satisfaction and loyalty.

4. Rate Negotiation & Contract Finalization:

Coordinate with management to determine business margins and finalize client rates.
Prepare contracts and close deals efficiently.

5. Contract Renewal Management:

Monitor contract expiration timelines and proactively pitch renewals for business continuity.

6. Issue Resolution & Payment Follow-ups:

Collaborate with Operations, Accounts, IT, and suppliers to resolve client concerns professionally.
Work with Finance/CRM teams to ensure timely collection of payments.

Required Experience:More than 7 years

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (preferable in Business, Marketing, or related field).
Minimum 7+ years of experience in sales, preferably in transportation or logistics.
Strong negotiation and client relationship management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Hindi, and Nepali.
Proactive, energetic, and able to work under pressure.
Technical proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
