Tibetan Handicraft & Paper (THP) is a leading handmade Lokta paper manufacturer based in Kathmandu. With decades of experience in traditional papermaking, THP supplies sustainable handmade paper and paper products to international markets.

THP is currently developing a Showroom, Gallery, and Archival Exhibition Space within its production facility. The space will serve as a curated product display, exhibition area, and small museum documenting the heritage and innovation of Lokta paper.

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented 3D Drafting Architect (Entry Level) to support the design and development of the showroom, gallery, and archival space. The selected candidate will work closely with the Project Manager (Lead Designer) to translate conceptual ideas into technical drawings, 3D models, and visual renderings.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in spatial planning and zoning of the deck area
Prepare 2D architectural drawings (AutoCAD)
Develop floor plans, elevations, and sectional drawings
Create 3D models using SketchUp
Produce visual renderings for design presentations
Support exhibition layout planning and display system design
Revise drawings based on feedback
Assist in preparing execution-level drawings for contractors

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:Not Required

Other Specification

Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (Completed or Final Year)
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Proficiency in SketchUp
Experience with rendering software (Lumion / Enscape / V-Ray or similar)
Strong drafting and spatial visualization skills
Attention to detail

Preferred:

Interest in exhibition design / museum design
Portfolio demonstrating interior or 3D concept projects
Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines

Additional Information

On-site presence required at THP production facility
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
