Job Description

At all times be aware of new opportunities published through tenders in newspapers. Post holder should constantly read all the news cuttings that are circulated by support staffs, read national dailies, maintain good relations with the ministries and other concerned authorities / individuals.
Always work with the aim of familiarizing yourself with the tender bidding processes, government procurement processes and relevant legal compliances.
Be tactical in knowing and learning about concerned authorities and individuals at related ministries (the client) and assist the company’s contract execution team in the implementation of project.
Have thorough knowledge on the criteria / needs and requirements of client on participation of foreign companies in concerned project(s).
Constantly make search (either online or otherwise) on relevant companies (the principal) and demonstrate effective correspondence skills to encourage their participation in national projects provided the companies meet the client’s requirements as mentioned in point 4 above.
The profile demands the post holder be analytical / judgmental while recommending companies to be represented in various projects i.e. understand and choose the best solution offered by principal(s) thereby improving chances of tender awards.
Ensure accuracy and worthiness of all documents sent by principal company and also ensure its relevance to the requirements of the tender documents in concern.
Encourage and ensure availability of a bank guarantee reflecting upon the seriousness in commitment of participating principal company and thereon ensure counter guarantee process is duly completed at the principal’s corresponding bank locally.
Maintain good guest relationship with principal company (including making efforts in fulfilling miscellaneous requests and demands, to utmost possibility).
Besides the project in concern, the post holder should be providing information, updates and feedbacks on upcoming new projects ensuring long term business relationship with principal company.
Undertake impromptu tasks on immediate occurrence, supervisor’s instructions, importance, time constraint and need (including out-of-station official travel).
Complete business promotion tasks by finally signing the contract with principal company being represented. Thereon, maintain effective correspondence and cooperation with company’s contract execution and assistance department (CEAD) for further implementation of the project.
