Responsibilities

As a Business Development Manager, you'll need to:

  • Plan, develop and oversee the overall business development strategy
  • Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets
  • Build strong relationships with industry professionals, competitors, vendors, and other partners
  • Understand the needs of our customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
  • Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
  • Create promotional strategies and activities in line with the changing trends in our sector
  • Develop marketing and branding materials to grow strong brand recognition
  • Plan and execute sales campaigns, along with developing an overall business and marketing strategy
