Job Description

  • Identify, list and contact potential customer; maintain and update market database(customer and competition); gather market and customer information
  • Focus in selling product and services; communicate product and services to the potential customer; handle first customer calls or queries; act as the first line of contact between a company and its existing and potential markets
  • Support in activities pertaining to finding appropriate persons/agencies to support the marketing and sales activities; identify and liaise with channel partners
  • Support preparation and implementation of sales plans and budgets;
  • Liaise and coordinate the transfer of potential clients (their preliminary requirement, potential and needs) to the customer engagement department for further engagement and propositions
  • Collaborate and coordinate with the marketing section on pricing, market and customer, development of marketing communication/promotional plans
  • Pass on the customer / market complaints to the customer engagement department (business operation) and the customer service & support department
  • Prepare monthly/ annual reports
  • Identify the customer requirements; arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business; and communicate appropriately to make a sale
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers in person, and via telephone calls and emails
  • Negotiate the terms of an agreement and closing sales; advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions; providing future buying trends of customers/ clients to the company
  • Record sales and order information and sending copies to the concerned person, section or department
  • Attend team meeting and sharing best practice with colleagues; support sales/ marketing manager/ officer and other colleagues
  • Support organizing events such as trainings, conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions
