Job Description

About the role:

Hydroplan undertakes the Design, Project Management, Operation and Monitoring of Renewable Energy schemes in Europe and the Kathmandu office is expanding. A full time Business Administrator is needed and the right candidate is likely to have  additional skills such as a high competency in IT,  Accounts (bookkeeping) and data management. The role involves dealing with UK colleagues and suppliers frequently and so excellent communication skills are needed.

Job Description

  • Support the team with general business administration including data entry and analysis,
  • Assist with report production, checking and delivery via email to clients
  • Be aware of the time and deadline for project components, in order to deliver information and services to the colleagues and client within the agreed timeline.
  • Manage flexible energy contracts for our clients and build bespoke financial reports for clients.
  • Interpret data in a methodical manner to produce quality reports simple enough to be understood by clients.
  • Learn various online systems and software, so as to deliver the required information to clients, colleagues and industry Regulators.
  • Lending a hand to other team members during times of high workload.
  • This position will require some shift work including a Rota for weekend working

 Additional Skills desired:

  • Accountancy or Bookkeeping experience using proprietary software.
  • Knowledge of calculating and preparing monthly payslips would be an advantage
  • IT Competent (ideally with M365 and SharePoint) and have the ability to assist other IT users.

 Qualifications and Qualities

  • A formal college-based education and possible under-graduate in any relevant discipline
  • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience of handling administrative related tasks,
  • Strong quantitative, writing, communication, and analytical skills
  • Able to communicate in clear English language to external people in an approachable manner
