The original building of Maya Manor Boutique Hotel was built by the Commander in Chief Toran Shumsher Rana and his brother Balram SJB Rana in 1935. The Chinese Ambassador lived in thismansion for 10 years. In 1974, the Sakya Family of the KGH Group of Hotels brought the mansion and was their family home until it was converted into a hotel in 2016.

Job Description

  • Assist the Operations Manager in creating and implementing all policies and procedures to establish a well-functioning Rooms Division department
  • Departments under your scope of responsibility will be: Front Office (Front Desk, Guest Relations, Reservations, Transportation and Concierge) and Housekeeping (Guestroom, Public Area and Laundry)
  • Support and assist the Operations Manager in planning, organizing and directing team members to ensure the highest degree of guest satisfaction
  • Perform proper budgeting and maximize hotel revenue by ensuring hotel yield management strategies are adhered to and in accordance with the hotel business plan objectives
  • Efficiently resolve guest complaints to ensure their concerns are addressed and their expectations are exceeded. Ensure on-going guest relations and rapport are not compromised and exceptional guest service is provided at all times
  • Produce and provide relevant reports, statistics, and analysis as required by the Operations Manager
