Job Description

Works closely with Supply Chain Manager to Manage direct engagement with suppliers and internal functional team to drive implementation of the supply strategy and ensure success of the supply chain
Collaborate with Supply Chain Manager to identify and select approved suppliers capable of providing parts and materials that meet established requirements
Monitors transporters and ensure all vehicles picked ordered materials from source, transported them to the Central (Base) Warehouse site within the time as scheduled
Supervise junior staff in supply chain department; provide guidance in process improvement of effective supply chain function
Reports to Supply Chain Manager on all aspect of supply activities on day-to-day basis
Assist Supply Chain Manager to optimize supply chain of materials and supplies and ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to supply chain policy
Track all inbound and outbound shipments from suppliers’ end to the Central (Base) Warehouse to ensure they arrive on time
Assist Supply Chain Manager for the storage of materials in Central (Base) warehouse and site stores that are to be used by construction department or that will be shipping out to construction sites
Monitor accuracy of inventory level maintained at the site, Maintain optimum inventory, ordering shipping materials, and supervising warehouse personnel including warehouse attendants, labors, drivers etc
Maintain good relationship with suppliers, ensure timely sourcing of materials, prepare Purchase Order, follow up for payment and ensure that all aspects of logistics activities
Maintain all records of stocks in Tally ERP and stock ledger, suppliers’ roster and other important information pertaining to supply chain functions
