Change Action Nepal, a non-governmental organization formed and led by women only and registered in District Administration Office (DAO) Lalitpur, and affiliated with Social Welfare Council (SWC), established in 2016 with aims to empowering marginalized and rural women and rescuing and rehabilitating the women and children at risk and human trafficking through livelihood, education and psychosocial counselling programs in coordination and collaboration with national and international partners, stakeholders, policy makers and community since its establishment , Change Action Nepal has direct project intervention in 4 districts of Nepal namely Nuwakot ,Kathmandu ,Lalitpur and Sindhupalchowk. Job Description

  • Provide and co-ordinate a range of need based support to the staff. The support will include travel, workshop running and all other administrative and project management support.
  • Develop, set up and maintain systems including time management, scheduling, reporting, etc. Ensure that all staff adheres to agreed systems and formats and formalities.
  • Oversee the administration of the office to including cleanliness, layout, seating, telephone, stationery & stock management,
  • Maintenance of key documents including registration certificates, originals of contracts, Fixed Deposit certificates and other key documents
  • Ensure smooth operation of all computer systems by ensuring a high up time for hardware and loading of all necessary software, including antivirus
  • Provide support to the Financer officer.
  •  support to the programs and visiting mission, e.g., prepare travel authorization, transportation, hotel accommodation, security clearance, settlement of travel claims, and purchase of items needed for the office
  • Support in secretarial work such as typing, documentation and filing and handling communications
  • Develop and maintain effective office systems (e.g., IT support, office maintenance, fixed assets, supplier contact), ensuring these are consistent with Change Action Nepal’s operating requirements.
  • Support the efficient running of Change Action Nepal office daily operations.
  • Ensure all procurement processes are in compliance with Change Action Nepal and donor requirement and   regulations.
  • Support logistics for Change Action Nepal program activities.
  • Other administration duties as agreed
  • Coordinate recruitment/induction in line with CAN’s processes
  • Support to recruit, screen, interview and hiring employee as necessary, following all HR process and procedures
  • Timely and accurately updates the staff personnel file (as per the HR policy) and maintain its confidentiality. Safety measures should be taken to avoid any leakage and/or loss of information.
  • assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures
  • Preparing, Maintain  HR documents
  • Prepare/ Update consultancy & vendor roster 
  • Comply with Change Action Nepal policies and practice with respect to child safeguarding, code of conduct, health and safety, equal opportunities and other relevant policies and procedures.
