Roles and responsibilities of this job

The Assistant CFO / Junior CFO will support the CEO in managing the complete financial operations of the Group of Companies. The role requires strong control over accounting, cash flow, banking coordination, project cost tracking, and financial reporting.

This is a high-responsibility role with exposure to construction, real estate development, capital markets, manufacturing, and fintech businesses.

Reports To: CEO

Scope: Group-Level (All Companies Under the Group)

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Financial Control

Ensure all group company accounts are updated daily
Monitor receivables, payables, and inter-company transactions
Review monthly closing and financial statements
Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants
Maintain financial discipline across companies

2. Cash Flow & Fund Management

Prepare weekly and monthly cash flow reports
Track working capital requirements
Ensure timely vendor payments, salary payments, and loan servicing
Monitor fund allocation between projects and companies

3. Banking & Loan Coordination

Liaise with banks for:
- Loan documentation
- OD/LC facilities
- Interest negotiations
- Limit renewals
Track EMI schedules and interest obligations
Maintain updated debt summary report

4. Project Cost Monitoring (Construction/Real Estate)

Track project budgets vs actual expenses
Monitor cost per sq.ft and project margins
Identify cost leakages and inefficiencies
Assist in financial feasibility studies for new projects

5. Financial Analysis & Advisory Support

Assist CEO with:
- Investment analysis
- IRR/ROI calculation
- Capital structuring
-Debt-equity analysis
Prepare management dashboards and summary reports

6. Compliance & Documentation

Ensure statutory compliance (tax, company law, NRB/SEBON where applicable)
Maintain proper financial documentation and records
Develop SOPs for financial approvals and reporting

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

CA Finalist / ACCA / MBA Finance
3–7 years experience
Experience in construction, real estate, or investment preferred
Strong Excel & financial modeling skills
Experience handling banking relationships
