Job Description

We are seeking a motivated candidate to join our team as an Admin Assistant - Store. As an integral part of our organization, you will provide administrative support and assistance in managing all store-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and inspecting goods: Store Keepers are responsible for receiving incoming goods and materials, verifying their quantity and quality and ensuring that they conform to the specifications and purchase orders.
  • Recording inventory: StoreKeepers maintain accurate records of inventory levels and movements of goods. They use computer software, spreadsheets, paper-based systems, and stock registers to track inventory levels, expiry dates and other relevant data.
  • Issuing materials: Store Keepers issue materials to authorized personnel and maintain accurate records of the receiver and other details.
  • Monitoring inventory levels: StoreKeepers monitor inventory levels and ensure that they are sufficient to meet the needs of the organization. They also analyze trends and demand patterns to predict future inventory needs.
  • Organizing and arranging goods: StoreKeepers organize and arrange goods in a systematic and logical manner to facilitate easy retrieval and minimize damage or loss.
  • Performing regular inventory audits: Store Keepers conduct regular inventory audits to verify the accuracy of inventory records and identify discrepancies or issues.
  • Coordinating with other departments: Store Keepers coordinate with other departments such as purchasing, production and logistics to ensure that inventory levels are adequate and to facilitate the smooth flow of goods and materials.
  • Ensuring safety and security: Store Keepers ensure that the warehouse or storage facility is clean, safe and secure. They implement safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure that valuable or sensitive items are protected from theft or damage.
  • Generating reports: Store Keepers prepare reports on inventory levels, issues and trends for management and other stakeholders.
  • Training and supervising staff: StoreKeepers train and supervise staff, including warehouse workers and clerks, to ensure that they follow proper procedures and maintain accurate records.
