Job Description

Length of Contract: 1 year (subject to successful completion of Probation Period) 
Salary: NPR 17,000 (Nepalese Rupees Seventeen Thousand Only) 
Probation: NPR 15,000 ( 3 months ) 
Reports to: The Director 

Job Purpose

The operations manager and warehouse operator hereinafter referred to as the “Employee” is the main person responsible for the overall operational management and handling of inventory movement in the warehouse of Nika Nepal. 

  • This includes receiving finished goods from the manufacturing department, releasing items from the warehouse and maintaining accurate inventory records to provide various inventory related reports to the other departments. 
  • As an operational manager the employee will be required to oversee and support all administrative duties in the office and to ensure the NIKA team has everything needed to run smoothly. 
  • To improve organizational processes and overall quality, productivity and efficiency.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Manage office and team 
  • Prepare and store official documents like contracts, agreements etc. 
  • Manage the space efficiently and maintain a clean and tidy office. 
  • Order Processing from various different platforms: Social media, Daraz, website. 
  • Receive order/shipment details everyday from the Online Sales Executive on a daily basis. ➢ Daily Picking, Packing, Shipping, Quality Control of products and orders. 
  • Coordinate with Logistics company and customers to ensure timely delivery 
  • Make necessary drop off arrangements for sales, product development and more. ➢ Daily report updates and basic bookkeeping and all related duties like issuing invoices, making payments and maintaining all financial records for the accountant. 
  • Keep a track and follow up of pending payments and settlements. 
  • Keep track of exchanges, returns whenever necessary. 
  • Monitor sales report, customer reviews and product/deals database to identify potential product issues and take appropriate corrective action. 
  • Inventory Management. Receive stock, create SKUs, labels, tags, size chart and update inventory details wherever necessary. 
  • Weekly Inventory and Product analysis report. (Stock count, Selling items, Slow items, size report and more with data) 
  • Facilitate other departments with all inventory details 

WORKING HOURS 

  • The working days at Nika Nepal’s Kathmandu Office will be 6 days a week from Sundays to Fridays and the normal working hours for the time being will be from 10:00 am to 6 pm. 

REPORTING TO THE DIRECTOR 

  •  Provide daily reports related to inventory movement at the warehouse to the Line Manager. ➢ Provide weekly analytical reports to the Line Manager. 
  • Provide monthly achievement report to the Line Manager. 
  • Attend Board of Directors meetings to present reports and/or give related input and other relevant information as required to their decision-making.

COMMUNICATION 

  • Support Nika Nepal’s other teams and departments to build the newsletter, annual review and website (as the case maybe) by providing financial information. 

EXTERNAL RELATIONS 

  • Provide appropriate information to the community and government about Nika Nepal as the case maybe. 
  • Network with staff, project partners, stakeholders and Board Members. 
  • Establish and maintain positive and productive relationships with key Nika Nepal’s customers, beneficiaries, partners, other organizations in the same/similar industry, corporate supports, key customers and suppliers as the case may be. This is by no means a definitive list as we anticipate that your external relationships will be extensive and frequent. 

INTERNAL RELATIONS 

  • Work closely with all Nika Nepal’s colleagues to implement Marketing, Public Relations and Communication initiatives that respond to and support the aims and objectives of its operations and activities. 

TRAVEL

  • Occasional visits to stakeholders or banks may be required sometimes. All occasional trips made will be reimbursed, just make sure receipt is presented. 

OTHERS 

  • Perform other duties as instructed by the Director and/or Accounting & Administrative Consultant incidental to the position. 
  • Promote Nika Nepal's aim and vision.
