Reporting To: General Manager / M.D. / CEO

Job Summary

The Accounts and Inventory Officer is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing inventory control, monitoring costs, and ensuring compliance with company policies. This role supports smooth daily operations through proper accounting practices and effective stock management.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts:

Maintain daily records of sales, expenses, purchases, and payments
Handle cash, bank, and digital transaction reconciliation
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports
Monitor receivables, payables, and payment schedules
Support budgeting and audit processes

Inventory:

Maintain accurate inventory records and stock movement
Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation
Monitor stock levels, variances, damage, and expiry
Ensure proper inventory handling and FIFO practices

Cost Control & Compliance:

Monitor operational costs and report variances
Support cost control and profitability initiatives
Ensure compliance with financial policies, SOPs, and internal controls

Coordination & Reporting:

Coordinate with operations, vendors, and management teams
Submit timely financial and inventory performance reports

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or related field
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred
Strong knowledge of accounting and inventory systems
Proficiency in Excel and accounting or ERP software
High attention to detail, integrity, and accountability
