Sagoon (Company) is incorporated in the United States, India, and Nepal - a social commerce platform, focused on gifts and coupons for socializing.

The platform has over 7 million users. Our users discover and share stories that interest them in texts, photos, and videos and earn FREE Smart Coins to shop in our partners’ stores.

What do you have to perform?

  • Documentation and file management of finance and accounts in accordance with legal policies and guidelines.
  • Maintain records and receipts for all daily transactions and verify each expense to be booked in books of accounts.
  • Ensure financial records are kept up-to-date with the latest transactions and changes.
  • Preparing Income Tax/VAT return and assist during audit
  • Handing all types of multiple engagements such as company registration, bank reconciliation, Income Tax/VAT filing or renewal etc.
  • Corresponding with banks and tax offices as per requirement of office.
  • Compiling and presenting monthly reports to supervisor.
  • Conduct other general accounting duties as per the requirement of the office.

What Skills do you need to possess to perform the job?

  • At least 2+ years of experience in the account or finance department, mostly preferred e-commerce/Digital/IT platform
  • Good mathematical and calculation skills
  • Good knowledge of accounting such as reconciliation, keeping voucher, financial statements and Costing
  • Good knowledge of VAT, tax and government policies
  • Should Know English and Nepali language
  • Candidates having a two-wheeler will be an added advantage
