Roles and responsibilities of this job

The Vocational Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all vocational training programs by coordinating between departments, managing administrative tasks, and supporting students throughout their training journey. The role involves documentation management, maintaining academic records, assisting in PR and marketing activities, and ensuring effective communication among GATE, trainees, instructors, and external agencies. The coordinator also supports examination processes and ensures compliance with Occupational Health & Safety and ISO quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Specific Tasks

Coordinate with instructors, placement officers, and relevant departments to ensure smooth course delivery.
Manage documentation, including letters, files, digital records, and student data.
Provide student counseling, address concerns, share job opportunities, and manage routine communication through SMS/updates.
Organize examinations, maintain syllabuses, prepare test materials, record results, and ensure exam security.
Maintain compliance with GATE’s Occupational Health & Safety and ISO quality standards.
Support PR and marketing initiatives, including social media updates, client relations, and event coordination.
Maintain timely and effective communication between trainees, instructors, and concerned units.
Assist in student and exam record management and general administrative operations.

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Education, or a related field (mandatory).

Skills Required

Strong communication skills in English and Nepali (written & verbal).
Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, data entry, and digital documentation.
Ability to multitask, coordinate across departments, and meet deadlines.
Positive and professional attitude with strong customer service orientation.
