Roles and responsibilities of this job

The Tour Manager will be the primary liaison between Namaste Travels and its customers. The Tour Manager is responsible for the overall success of the itinerary, overseeing planning, logistics, and execution of organized trips for both groups and individual travelers.

Key Responsibilities:

Logistics & Planning: Create, manage, and update detailed travel itineraries; coordinate bookings for transportation (flights, buses, trains) and arrange accommodations using booking systems and travel platforms.
Financial Management: Manage tour budgets, track expenses, and handle payments to vendors or crew.
On-the-Ground Coordination: Accompany groups, manage daily activities, oversee check-ins, and ensure all services (meals, entry to attractions) meet standards.
Documentation: Assist with visa applications, check passports, and manage immigration or travel permits.
Problem Solving: Resolve emergencies such as canceled flights or disputes with local promoters.
Communication: Act as the primary liaison between clients, venues, and local/international service providers.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Educational Requirement: A Bachelor’s Degree in any faculty is mandatory.
Training/Certification (Preferred): Completion of training at NATHM, Kathmandu, is preferred.
Minimum 3–4 years of experience in tour management or a similar role in the travel and tourism sector.
Strong knowledge of Nepal’s tourist destinations, culture, and travel logistics.
High emotional intelligence, ability to stay calm under pressure, and a service-first mindset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Nepali.
Ability to lead groups, manage clients, and handle emergencies efficiently.
Proficiency with booking apps, expense tracking software, and digital itinerary tools.
Flexibility to travel frequently and work extended hours when needed.
