Teller / Accountant

We are seeking a Teller/Accountant who can efficiently manage day-to-day cash transactions while also performing accounting and financial record-keeping duties. The ideal candidate should have good numerical skills, attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work accurately in a financial service environment. The position requires someone who can handle cash responsibly, maintain accurate accounting records, reconcile transactions, and provide professional service to cooperative members.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily cash deposits, withdrawals, savings, loan payments, and other teller transactions.
• Verify cash, vouchers, receipts, and supporting documents before processing transactions.
• Maintain accurate records of daily cash and accounting transactions.
• Perform daily cash and bank reconciliation and report discrepancies when identified.
• Maintain vouchers, ledgers, journals, receipts, and other accounting records.
• Record financial transactions accurately in accounting software.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and audit-related documents.
• Maintain proper and confidential financial records.
• Provide professional service and support to cooperative members.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and accounting procedures.
• Perform other accounting, teller, and administrative duties as assigned.
