Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and responsible Accountant to manage the company's accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate should have sound knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, financial reporting, and statutory compliance, with the ability to work independently and maintain accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate books of accounts.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
Monitor cash flow, expenses, receivables, and payables.
Prepare and maintain records related to VAT, TDS, income tax, and other statutory requirements.
Coordinate with auditors, banks, tax consultants, and relevant authorities.
Monitor inventory records and assist with inventory reconciliation and cost accounting.
Maintain accurate financial records of sales, purchases, production, and export transactions.
Review financial transactions and supporting documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cost control.
Identify financial discrepancies and maintain effective internal financial controls.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant work experience in accounting. Experience in manufacturing, trading, or export-oriented companies will be preferred.
Strong knowledge of Nepalese accounting and taxation practices, including VAT, TDS, and income tax.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of inventory management and cost accounting will be an added advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
