Felm is an internationally active organization established in 1859 and one of the largest Finnish civil society organizations working in global development. Felm currently works in 30 countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America. Felm started working in Nepal since 1977. As an INGO it was registered in 2009, to promote social justice, and enhance economic and social transformation of the most marginalized, vulnerable, and socio-economically disadvantaged people. It focuses in Community Development, and People with Disabilities; with cross-cutting work in livelihood, education, climate change, gender and social inclusion, environmental sustainability, and Disaster Risk Reduction, in Sudurpaschim and Karnali Province.
