Duty Station: Current requirement is in Kathmandu but can be placed anywhere in Nepal as per business needs and future requirements.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Management or similar field with minimum 6 years of relevant experience. Or, minimum master’s degree in Management or similar field / relevant Professional Degree with minimum 4 years of relevant experience. 
  • Must have experience of working in OHS vertical: Developing strategies and initiatives to implementing the planned initiatives.
  • Must have experience of developing HROD related strategies and initiatives and implementing the planned initiatives.
  • Must have experience of developing and revising policies related to HR.
  • Experience of planning and executing initiatives to ensure OHS related international certification will be an added advantage.
  • Must have knowledge of contemporary HR systems and practices.
  • Must have basic working knowledge of various HR verticals.
  • Must have knowledge of Labour related laws.

Job Description

Main Responsibility Areas:

  • Develop yearly Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) plan and ensure implementation of the same in line with the direction of the Organization and the laws of the land.
  • Develop OHS Management System including but not limited to investigation, risk assessment, actions, action plan and execution/ also follow up with all the departments.
  • Develop & Implement Organizational Development strategies / initiatives in line with business and functional requirements and objectives.
  • Lead in developing new policies, guidelines and procedure related to HR and periodically revisit all HR related policies, guidelines and procedures, ensuring the same to be robust and up to date.
  • Conducting EES Surveys and other OD Initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other colleagues in HR to implement various initiatives ensuring that the business and functional objectives are achieved also review and coordinate with HPBP’s to update Job Descriptions for all the job positions and archive up-dated Job Descriptions. 
  • To manage employee Insurance related matters, End to End.
  • To work on Employer Branding Initiatives, EVPs & HR Communication/awards.
