A specific background in work with children is required as well asÂ understanding and interest inÂ child psychology and child development. The job requires full and preferable long-term commitment, since the main target is to create a family similar supportive environment for the children and the working hours vary and include nightshifts. The potential candidate willÂ work in a team and will receive support through regular team meetings, exchange with work colleagues, close working relationship with the team leader and workshops.Â The potential carer has a seperate room and will be able to sleep during the night.Â Office hours for this post are from 4 pm to 10Â am (sleeping during nigh shifts). Extra hours are made during childrens holidays.Â Â Flexibility and a strong comittment is required as well as strong english language proficiency.Â

Job Description

The job compasses theÂ planning and implementation ofÂ various creative and educational activities with children of the living community in ThasikhelÂ and their daily support with homeworks, as well as the assistance in the development of life skills and problem solving strategies.Â
