Job Description

Reports To: Acting Assistant Manager (Business and Promotion)

Purpose

The Social Media Handler will be responsible for managing and executing daily activities across Music Nepal’s social media platforms to enhance audience engagement, content visibility, and brand awareness. The role involves content planning, scheduling, analytics, engagement, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure consistent, impactful digital presence.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Plan, create, and publish engaging content on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and the MOMO App, maintaining consistent brand presence.
  • Monitor and promptly respond to audience comments, messages, and tags to build engagement and community.
  • Optimize content with appropriate hashtags, captions, and formatting per platform.
  • Track, analyze, and report social media performance metrics (engagement, reach, followers, etc.).
  • Collaborate with marketing, radio, and content teams to align digital activities with music releases and promotional campaigns.
  • Assist in creating promotional materials such as reels, shorts, stories, and graphics for enhanced engagement.
  • Work with the design and YouTube teams to develop cohesive campaigns and maintain consistent brand aesthetics.
  • Stay updated on social media algorithms, tools, and emerging trends to optimize performance.
  • Conduct trend and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for creative and strategic improvement.
  • Implement at least one trend-driven or insight-led improvement every quarter.
  • Ensure all posts adhere to brand tone, visual identity, and content quality standards.
  • Provide regular reports on engagement, growth, and content performance to management.
  • Support influencer collaborations, paid ad campaigns, and cross-platform promotions.
  • Perform additional duties related to digital and social media as assigned by the supervisor.
