Job Description

Construction Oversight and Management:

Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations of Hydro, Solar, tourism and other infrastructure projects.
Monitor the progress of work and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
Manage and resolve technical issues that arise on-site.

Quality Control and Assurance:

Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure that all work meets required standards.
Conduct regular inspections of work in progress to identify and correct deficiencies.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and corrective actions.

Safety Management:

Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures on-site.
Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
Identify and mitigate potential hazards.
Ensure that all personnel are properly trained in safety procedures.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including site diaries, progress reports, and material records.
Prepare regular reports on project progress and any issues that arise.
Communicate effectively with the Project Manager and other stakeholders.

Coordination and Communication:

Coordinate with design engineers, architects, and other technical personnel to ensure proper execution of the project.
Communicate effectively with local communities and other stakeholders.
Participate in project meetings and provide updates on site activities.
Oversee the installation and commissioning of solar PV systems, hydropower components, and related electrical infrastructure.
Ensure that renewable energy installations comply with relevant codes and standards.
Oversee the construction of buildings, roads, and other infrastructure projects.
Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.

Other Duties:

Assist in the preparation of project budgets and schedules.
Manage site resources effectively.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
