About the organization
Upper Ankhu Hydropower Project is run of river type project located at Rubi Valley and Khaniyabas rural municipality of Dhading. It has design discharge of 19.3 m3/s, gross head of 277.5 m and installed capacity of 44 MW. The average annual energy generation of the project is 254 GWh. The energy generated from the project is evacuated through a 28 km long 220 kV transmission line to NEA substation at Trishuli 3B Hub Nuwakot. The project has already signed grid connection agreement, and Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) and obtained generation license.
