Job Description

Job Summary:

  • Maintain high level of accuracy of the financial statements, reports, and other financial records. Produce reports as per the requirement of the management. Coordinate with the vendors, government officials and other parties on a regular basis. Responsible for overall management of the TAX, VAT related matters.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, etc.) and other necessary reports on a regular basis. Also provide assistance to supervisor as and when needed for the preparation of reports and other relevant tasks.
  • Implement budgetary control measures and proper fund flow management.
  • Coordinate with Government Offices, Internal and Statutory Auditors. 
  • Responsible for facilitating the overall audit process.
  • Ensure Compliance to the company rules and regulations and statutory laws.
  • Maintain business relationships with the key parties.
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations of Bank Accounts.  
  • Perform calculation and deduction of TDS Payable on various payments and maintain proper record of TDS payable and ensure accuracy of TDS payable sheet.
  • Responsible for the calculation of VAT payable to the government. Prepare VAT returns.
  • Carry out timely deposit of VAT and TDS in related Government Offices.
  • Carry out vendor reconciliation, prepare weekly payment plan for the vendors and obtain approval from the higher authority for payment disbursal.
  • Issue Tax clearance certificate, VAT invoice to various parties and staff.
  • Ensure that stock and Fixed Assets register is well updated and maintained accurately.
  • Preparation of monthly and yearly Financial budget.
  • Perform other jobs as assigned
