Roles and responsibilities of this job

Assistant Manager - Account & Finance will play a key role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations, and supporting strategic financial planning. This position requires strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and the ability to manage complex financial tasks with precision and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records for solar projects, including project costs, revenues, and cash flows.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments to suppliers, contractors.
Prepare financial reports, project profitability analyses, and performance dashboards for management review.
Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and perform variance analysis for ongoing solar installations and operations.
Support financial modelling for solar power projects, including ROI, IRR, and payback period calculations.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to track material costs and project timelines.
Manage fixed assets related to solar installations, ensuring accurate capitalisation and depreciation.
Support audits, providing documentation specific to solar project financing and reporting.
Optimise financial processes to improve transparency and efficiency across project-based accounting.

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Education:

Chartered Accountant or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Experience:

Proven Experience in Finance and Accounting Operations (minimum 3+ years preferred).
Experience in the energy sector or project-based accounting is an added advantage.

Skills:

Strong understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting.
Excellent budgeting and forecasting abilities
Proficiency in accounting software, Advanced Excel and data analytics skills
Knowledge of taxation and regulatory compliance
Attention to detail and accuracy
Strong problem-solving and numerical skills
Effective communication and organizational skills

Offered salary: NPR 1,00,000 per month (Negotiable for deserving candidates based on experience and qualifications).
