Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Accounts and Finance Manager to lead and oversee the company’s overall financial management, compliance, and audit functions. The Accounts and Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the organization’s financial operations, ensuring compliance with Nepalese taxation laws (including VAT, TDS, and Income Tax) while coordinating effectively with the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) and other regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all accounts and finance operations, including bookkeeping, reporting, and statutory compliance.
Handle all international trade transactions including LC, DAP, Credit, and other import-related financial operations.
Prepare and review financial reports: projections, provisional accounts, audit reports, NTA reports, etc.
Ensure compliance with Nepalese taxation laws, including VAT, TDS, Income Tax, and coordinate with the IRD and other authorities.
Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and financial institutions.
Lead internal and external audits, ensuring accuracy and timely submission of reports.
Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
Analyze financial data and provide strategic advice to senior management.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Professional Certification

Required Experience:More than 5 years

Other Specification

CA with 2-3 years of experience or Semi-Qualified CA with 5 years of experience.
Experience in FMCG and an import-based company preferred
Proficient in Hitech’s Swastik Gold accounting software with thorough knowledge of its functions
Adequate knowledge of Nepalese Taxation as per IRD rules with hands-on accounting experience.
Strong experience in handling overall audit and financial compliance
Strong knowledge of financial management and reporting
Expertise in audit and internal control systems
In-depth knowledge of Nepalese taxation and regulatory framework
Strategic financial planning and business analysis
Leadership and team management skills
High level of integrity and professional ethics
Strong analytical and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary is negotiable as per the candidates’ experience and qualifications.
