  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office-MS Word, Excel
  • Very good knowledge of English and Hindi language. Additional languages will be considered a plus

Job Description

Department: Sales & Marketing
Reporting to: Director Of Sales & Marketing
Responsible for: Hotel reservation management

Purpose of the role:

Responsible for Taking reservations by phone also responsible for the organization and quality of the room sales service by maximizing the occupancy rate and the average rate per room and optimize the occupancy of the hotel and the Rooms Division turnover and the average rate per room.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the entire Reservations & Hostess department procedures and processes
  • Assign daily tasks to Reservations and Hostess staff
  • Responsible for the work schedule of the Reservations and Hostess staff
  • Review booked reservations and arrival reports daily
  • Ensure that proper telephone & communication manners are maintained by the Reservations staff at all times
  • Handles all guests’ complaints
  • Analyze the reservation results with the Front Office and Reservations teams
  • Carry out revenue management; i.e. maximize turnover of the department based on the occupancy rate and the average price of the rooms.
  • Take part in the preparation of the annual budget for your department and keep up to date with all results implementing all corrective actions as required
  • Forward the workload forecasts to all departments for average rate per room and turnover
  • Ensure adequate handling of repetitive guests and VIP guests
  • Coordinate group/event requests in cooperation with the event Manager
  • Responsible for the smooth communication between the Reservations department and all other departments 
  • Responsible for the production and distribution of all booking reports to relevant departments
  • Review no-show and cancelled reservations and report accordingly, to Managing Directors regarding performance and actual sales statistics
