About the Project:
NAMASTE is a research project which aims to design and implement a flexible evidenced pathway towards universal health coverage for children with autism, through a program of research, training, and capacity building across India, Sri Lanka and Nepal. This is a collaborative research project, led by the University of Manchester in the UK and India, Nepal and Sri Lanka. In Nepal, the ACNS collaborates to conduct this project in Godawari Municipality, Lalitpur district. The major objectives of the NAMASTE project are as follows:
About the Role:
ACNS is seeking to recruit a Research Associate (Data Management and Analysis) for NAMASTE with expertise in Python or R to support data management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for data cleaning, analysis, visualization, and management of large datasets collected from diverse sources, such as surveys, community-based data, and health records. This role involves collaboration with researchers, the data management team, and project coordinators to ensure efficient and accurate data processing and reporting.

About the organization
The ACNS (https://autismnepal.org/) is an active autism organization in Nepal led by parents of individuals with autism. It is a non-profit, non-political, non-governmental organization registered with the District Administration Office (Registration No. 1067/2065) and affiliated with the Social Welfare Council (SWC No: 25314). Since its inception on 2 April 2008, on "World Autism Awareness Day," it has been actively engaged in autism awareness programs, advocating for the rights of individuals with autism and capacity building of individuals with autism, their parents and caregivers in Nepal. The organisation provides assessment and diagnostic services, intervention programs, parent training and counselling, a special education program, vocational training for adults with autism, and capacity building for health, educational, and other paraprofessionals.
