Executive Search Unit at merojob is currently looking to hire a Project Sales Manager for one of its clients in the Marbles & Granites industry. The Project Sales Manager will be responsible for driving project-based sales by developing strong relationships with builders, architects, interior designers, and contractors. The role requires active site visits, project tracking, technical product presentations, commercial negotiations, and coordination with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with builders, architects, interior designers, contractors, and project stakeholders.
Visit project sites regularly to conduct product presentations and provide basic product and technical training.
Identify new projects, track their progress, and introduce company products at the appropriate stages.
Present and promote the complete product portfolio including tiles, sanitaryware, marbles, granites, SPC flooring, and related products.
Recommend suitable product combinations based on project requirements and provide accurate technical guidance.
Prepare quotations, pricing proposals, and commercial offers for project clients.
Negotiate pricing within approved limits and ensure all commercial agreements are properly documented.
Ensure strict compliance with company credit policies and obtain necessary approvals for credit requests.
Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
Ensure invoices, delivery challans, and all required dispatch documents are accurately prepared and issued.
Manage after-sales support, address site-related issues, and provide ongoing customer assistance.
Regularly follow up with clients for ledger reconciliation and collection of outstanding payments.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records, including meetings, quotations, and follow-up activities.
Submit weekly reports to management covering sales activities, project status, and progress updates.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in project sales, preferably within the marbles, granites, tiles, sanitaryware, or building materials industry.
Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
Good understanding of project sales cycles and construction industry practices.
Ability to provide basic technical product knowledge and on-site support.
Strong coordination, documentation, and reporting skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and basic sales reporting tools.
Willingness to travel frequently to project sites.
