Knowledge, skills and competencies

Education

Master’s degree in Environmental Science/Social Science or related field.

Work experience and competencies

At least 3-5 years of working experience in project planning, implementation, particularly working with indigenous women, youths, and indigenous community.
Good at community mobilization with sound coordination and communication skills.
Experience in providing capacity building, training, and orientations of diverse teams.
Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively handle multiple task, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
Previous experience in donor-funded project management, monitoring and evaluation, as well as reporting.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong team player with proven communication and diplomacy, with the ability to work effectively with multicultural and multidisciplinary teams with sensitivity and respect for diversity.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
Work with program teams to ensure that reports are delivered according to project and donor contractual requirements, within the agreed timescale and budget.
Lead proposal writing, including concept note development and donor communications.
Manage project planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting to ensure effective delivery, and support other tasks as required.
