Job Description

  • Work with a community partner to design and implement the Nepal phase of the exchange programme.
  • To facilitate training & learning amongst volunteers on global, cross-cultural and intercultural issues
  • To keep Country Management Team (CMT) and YX Programme Management Unit (PMU) regularly informed about the progress of GX teams in the host communities, including any medical or health and safety issues.
  • Manage the Nepal budget for the exchange and produce monthly accounts
  • While working with community partner, act as a lead in monitoring and evaluation to  ensure that learning from the programme is captured from all volunteers and stakeholders and outcomes recorded
  • Programme development and implementation in the Nepal host community
  • Supervise and support volunteers
  • Facilitate Training and Learning
  • Communication with the CMT and GX PMU
  • Budget management
  • Monitoring and evaluation
