Job Description

The Procurement Assistant will support the procurement team in sourcing, purchasing, and maintaining records of goods and services for Karkhana. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to assist in negotiating and managing supplier relationships.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential suppliers; evaluate their qualifications.
  • Conduct field visits for purchasing when required.
  • Negotiate with suppliers on price fluctuations and terms.
  • Assist senior staff/manager in procurement-related tasks.
  • Review contracts to ensure compliance with agreed terms and conditions.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders and shipments; update inventory levels accordingly.
  • Perform additional procurement tasks assigned by senior/manager.
