Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Officer to manage procurement activities, vendor relationships, and logistics operations efficiently. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in procurement processes, international trade, and supply chain coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Knowledge and handling of TT/LC banking processes for local, India, and third-country transactions.
Understanding of customs tariffs, HSN codes, and duty calculations.
Maintain strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers in both India and Nepal.
Attend vendor meetings and participate in procurement discussions.
Knowledge of shipment booking processes via road, sea, and air.
Track, receive, and manage inventory of all ordered items.
Review supplier proposals, quotations, and invoices for accuracy.
Manage claims, losses, and discrepancies in procurement and shipments.
Coordinate with staff, operations personnel, and external agencies to ensure the timely availability of materials and services.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in procurement or logistics
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Must possess a two-wheeler for work-related transportation
