Nana Hotel is looking for a hands-on, motivated and guest-focused Hotel Operations In-Charge to oversee the day-to-day operations of our hotel and rooftop bar in Thamel. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional currently working at a supervisory level in a hotel, resort, guesthouse or restaurant who is ready to take on greater responsibility and grow into an Operations Manager role.

The ideal candidate will be actively involved in daily operations, confident in leading a small team, commercially aware and committed to delivering excellent guest experiences while achieving operational and revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Take responsibility for the hotel’s daily operations across Front Office, Housekeeping, Service and the rooftop bar.
Maintain staff discipline, attendance, grooming and shift coordination.
Lead the team during daily operations and ensure instructions and service standards are followed.
Handle guest concerns professionally and ensure complaints are resolved promptly.
Monitor rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, maintenance and guest readiness.
Improve the guest experience and help generate positive reviews and repeat business.
Work towards occupancy, room-revenue and rooftop bar sales targets.
Develop and implement practical ideas to improve the rooftop bar’s atmosphere, promotions and revenue.
Coordinate with Sales, Reservations and Marketing on offers, events and promotional activities.
Monitor stock, cash controls, wastage and daily operational expenses.
Identify maintenance and operational issues and follow up until they are resolved.
Submit regular reports on occupancy, revenue, guest feedback, staffing and operational concerns.
Recruit, train, coach and evaluate team members when required.
Work closely with senior management to gradually improve systems and operating standards.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Tourism or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant hospitality experience, preferably in a supervisory or team-lead role.
Strong leadership, communication and guest-service skills.
Hands-on experience in hotel operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping and Food & Beverage.
Good knowledge of staff management, scheduling, training and team coordination.
Understanding of occupancy, revenue, sales targets, inventory, cash and cost control.
Strong problem-solving, decision-making and complaint-handling skills.
Basic knowledge of hotel/POS systems and operational reporting.
Commercially aware with the ability to identify revenue opportunities.
Experience in rooftop bar, restaurant, promotions or events is an advantage.
Positive, energetic, professional and accountable, with the flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays.
