  • Master’s Degree in Technical Subjects (Science, Engineering or Management).
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the internet, webpage development, and internet communication.
  • Good knowledge of communicating using emails.
  • Proven experience of executing a desk or an office and working independently and even in the absence of instructions.
  • Good command of written, speaking and reading English.
  • Good skills of analyzing the facts, and information and reaching to the conclusions.
  • Prior experience will be given priority for the job.
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills particularly understanding the content of Emails and briefing to the concerned.
  • Proven skills of thinking out-of-the-box and handling unpredictable and uncertain situations.
  • The candidate must have a willingness of working of seven months. It will not be permitted to leave the job in between.

Job Description

Office Secretary will:

  • Update the conference website regularly.
  • Download the abstracts and papers uploaded on the website and organize them.
  • Forward the abstracts and papers to the scientific committee members.
  • Liaise with various agencies of the organizing committee, government agencies, sponsors, travel agency, media partners, transport providers and other service providers.
  • Liaise with the hotels where the event will be organized and delegates will stay.
  • Work with the Chairperson and the Secretary to operate a Bank account.
  • Keep the record of the funds received and payments made.
  • Communicate with the organizing committee members and other Sub –Committee Members.
  • Work with the Chairperson and the Secretary to plan and execute various activities during the Conference.
  • Operate the office desk provided and receive instructions from the supervising authorities.
  • Any other tasks instructed by the Chairperson, Executive Secretary, and members of the
  • Organizing committee, IWA, and other relevant organizations.
  • Keep the record of minutes of meetings.
