Job Description

Role Brief:

Develop and implement manufacturing, production and operations initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy and Quality Management System. Bridge relation amongst management, equipment manufacturer, operators, mechanics and technicians to address product life cycle and supply chain requirements. 

Role Description:

Our Production Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of plant production, manufacturing equipment and maintenance plan. This position will also drive activities to achieve cost targets and improve performance in the areas of true efficiency, safety, quality and supply chain capability while ensuring compliance quality objectives are met.  This individual will support business needs and ensure the proper implementation of company Quality Management System strategies and objectives. The goal is to consistently increase productivity while improving manufacturing cost by using robust operational job skills for job design, troubleshoot, recruitment, performance/ talent management, training & development, employment cycle changes. 

Responsibilities:

  • Managing & growing current and new categories of the Brand. 
  • Map the existing products in geographies & work out region wise schemes / activations for growth.
  • Studying and identifying the new categories suitable for extending the Brand.
  • Identifying new Product opportunities for launches in line with growth plans for the Brand. 
  • Setting the Product Mix plan for the new products. 
  • Plan for Growth of each Product and the Brands Norms and Benchmarks for Market Coverage and Presence; Reach and Efficiency through physical and digital presence. 
  • Development & Management of all ATL, BTL and TTL programs / communications.
  • Conduct the necessary Market Research activities to gain feedbacks. 
  • Competitor analysis.
  • Manage the marketing and sales team recruitment, selection, and appraisal process for high performance.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation 
  • Nurture a positive working environment. 
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance. 
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs. 
  • Report to management and provide decision support through marketing metrics.
