Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

The Manager should carry out the following job but not limited to :

Carry out day to day activities including making correspondence with the parties (Employer/Contractor) and Courts whenever required
Conduct internal meetings between DB Members and Arbitrators appointed by the Parties as directed by DB Members and Arbitrators
Notify the Parties regarding appointment of DB Chairman/Presiding Arbitrator and date of Preliminary Meeting
Carry out the other activities as directed by Chairperson/General Secretary/ Director.
Reporting to Chairperson/General Secretary on all important and urgent issues related to Adjudication/DB/Arbitration and Court Decisions

Establish and maintain Electronic and hard copy filing and documentation on:
a. NEPCA Member, Panelist Arbitrators
b. Archive of Adjudication / DB /Arbitration Awards
c. Rules of Adjudication/DB/Arbitration
d. Websites and IT Related Activities

Conduct the followings as per the requirement:
a. Trainings/Workshop/Seminars
b. Adjudication/Dispute Boards/Arbitration Meetings and Hearings
c. NEPCA Executive Meetings
d. NEPCA Annual General Meetings

Preparing Annotated Bibliography on Adjudication/DB and Arbitration Awards
Preparing a Summary of Adjudication/DB Awards and Arbitral Awards
Updating Websites
Maintaining Public Relations
Miscellaneous

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor in Business Administration/Commerce/IT/Engineering
Having work experience in capacity of Manager level for at least two (2) year
Fully conversant with M.S. Office (Word, Excel, PP)
Fluency in Nepali and English both spoken and written with Typing
