Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Responsible for managing daily purchasing activities, supplier coordination, price monitoring and cost control while ensuring the timely availability of quality products and materials at competitive prices in accordance with Fire And Ice standards.

Key Responsibilities

Purchasing & Procurement: Manage daily purchasing requirements, obtain quotations, compare prices and ensure timely procurement of food ingredients and operational supplies.
Price & Cost Control: Regularly monitor market prices, maintain updated price lists and immediately report unusual price variations to management. No significant price increase should be accepted without prior approval.
Supplier Management: Develop and maintain reliable supplier relationships, negotiate competitive prices and monitor supplier performance, quality and delivery schedules.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all purchased products meet Fire And Ice's approved quality specifications, freshness and standards approved by Head Chef / Owner.
Inventory Coordination: Coordinate with Stores, Kitchen and Operations to maintain adequate stock levels and avoid overstocking, shortages and wastage.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate purchase records, quotations, invoices and supplier details. Submit regular purchasing and price comparison reports.
Internal Coordination: Work closely with Accounts, Stores, Kitchen and Operations to ensure transparency, accuracy and smooth procurement activities.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Procurement or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant procurement experience.
Experience in the hospitality, restaurant or FMCG industry will be an advantage.
Good knowledge of market pricing, supplier negotiations and inventory management.
Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement documentation.
