Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Junior Accountant to manage daily financial transactions, maintain accurate accounting and inventory records, and support overall store financial operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting tools, with the ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Transaction Management: Accurately record sales, returns, discounts, and payments.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit timely and accurate accounting reports, including month-end closings.
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock counts.
Reconciliation: Review and reconcile payments and records in the store's accounting system.
Audit Support: Assist with annual audits.
Communication: Communicate regularly with store management.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulations.
Data Accuracy: Log accounting information accurately to maintain data quality.
Financial Analysis: Assist with profitability analysis and pricing reviews.

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Professional diploma or training or formal education in Accounting or a related field.
Strong accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in MS Excel and other supporting tools
