Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to manage daily accounting entries, handle petty cash and banking transactions, prepare receivable/payable reports, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain daily accounts and make entries into the accounting system.
Prepare weekly aging receivable/payable reports.
Handling of Petty and Banking transactions.
Reconciliation of Tax ledgers, Debtors, Creditors, and Cash/Online Payments/Bank reconciliation.
Maintain accounting vouchers with proper supporting documents and ensure the same in accordance with accounting standards and taxation.
Maintain books of accounts as per VAT Act and Rules; purchase book and sales books for the company.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the concerned authority.

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Must have a Bachelor's degree or be currently pursuing one, with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
Good communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new accounting tools and processes.
