Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Assistant to support the smooth operation of the college’s IT infrastructure. The role involves providing first-level technical support, maintaining hardware and software systems, and assisting faculty, staff, and students with day-to-day IT needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level IT support to faculty, staff, and students (in-person, by phone, or remotely)
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues (e.g., PCs, printers, projectors, Smart Boards, Wi-Fi)
  • Install, configure, and update operating systems and software applications
  • Manage and monitor the Biometric Attendance System for staff and faculty
  • Assist in the maintenance of computer labs, servers, and network equipment
  • Support the deployment and setup of new IT equipment and software
  • Assist in managing video conferencing tools (Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.)
  • Collaborate with the IT team to maintain system security and efficiency
