Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a disciplined and analytical Inventory Manager who understands that inventory is capital in physical form. The ideal candidate will ensure fast-moving flow, zero pilferage, controlled working capital, and system-driven replenishment, contributing directly to operational efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor daily stock levels and movement to prevent stock-outs or overstocking
Maintain accurate physical vs system inventory records
Lead stock audits and variance control
Implement reorder level and buffer stock systems
Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and sales teams
Reduce dead stock and improve inventory turnover ratio
Maintain FIFO discipline in all inventory handling
Generate weekly inventory performance reports

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Management, Supply Chain, or related field
2–5 years of experience in inventory or warehouse management
Strong Excel and reporting skills
Understanding of inventory turnover, reorder points, and safety stock
High integrity and operational discipline
Experience in wholesale, FMCG, or fabric industry preferred

Performance Expectations:

Stock variance < 0.5%
Zero stock-outs on A-category fast movers
Improved inventory turnover ratio
Accurate monthly closing inventory
