Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Manager who can effectively manage accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and strategic financial planning while ensuring accuracy and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, bookkeeping, and financial reporting activities of the brokerage firm.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, taxation policies, and financial reporting standards.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements along with management reports.
Monitor client fund reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and settlement-related transactions accurately and timely.
Manage budgeting, cash flow planning, and internal financial controls to support operational efficiency and business growth.
Coordinate with auditors, regulatory authorities, banks, and other external stakeholders as required.
Supervise the accounts team and ensure timely processing of payments, receivables, payroll, and statutory filings.
Support management with financial analysis, MIS reporting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
Maintain proper financial documentation and ensure accuracy in all accounting records.
Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to strengthening financial systems and controls.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 6 years

Other Specification

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
CA/ACCA qualification or partly qualified candidates will be highly preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 6–7 years of relevant work experience, preferably as a team leader.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of Nepal Financial Reporting Standards (NFRS), taxation, and capital market regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines with accuracy.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
