Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics and Warehousing Associate to support inventory management, warehousing operations, logistics coordination, and merchandise handling at Harrington Nepal. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining stock accuracy, coordinating deliveries, ensuring product quality standards, and supporting smooth day-to-day warehouse and store operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory & Warehousing

Manage inventory databases, oversee stock levels, and coordinate storage, receiving, and order fulfillment.

Logistics & Distribution

Track shipments, plan transportation routes, and liaise with carriers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery.

Operations & Compliance

Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company policies.

Problem Solving

Troubleshoot shipping delays, inventory discrepancies, and route inefficiencies.

Communication

Act as the central point of contact between warehouse staff, procurement, and customers.

Quality Check and Merchandise Management

Perform quality checks on all merchandise and ensure quality of the merchandise is as per the required standards
Maintain visual merchandising standards, including stocking shelves and arranging displays.
Restock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed.
Sort and rotate merchandise to keep inventory organized and fresh.
Assist with in-store promotions and displays.

Other Duties

Assist with inventory counts and stock management.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
May be responsible for opening or closing the store, depending on the store's needs.
Follow all company policies and procedures

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Product Knowledge: Understanding of Harrington’s styles, trends, and fabrics.
Communication Skills: Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Customer Service Skills: Ability to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and provide excellent service.
Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace and merchandise.
Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals.

Note: Candidates must possess a valid driving license and a two-wheeler.
